Project Philosophy

We have committed to advancing our knowledge, experience, and innovative sustainable practices by undertaking our pilot project: a 12 home self-sustained community in Playa Potrero, Costa Rica.

In this innovative project we will be combining different configurations to build state of the art, sustainable homes. At the same time we will be collecting and gathering data from monitoring systems that our researchers can analyze in order to advance sustainable technologies with a common goal to reduce consumption, pollution, and the carbon footprint from wasteful building practices.

We have chosen this area of the Northern Guanacaste for not only its majestic beauty and premier geographical location, but for the fact that Costa Rica is one of the leading countries committed to sustaining our environment and cooperating with planet Earth.
